If you’re looking for a quick and easy weeknight recipe the whole family will love, you’re going to enjoy this delicious buffalo chicken flat bread recipe.
Ingredients
- 1/2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 medium to large chicken breasts, diced small
- 1 cup of mushrooms, diced small
- 1 cup of onion, diced small
- 1/2 – 1 cup of Mozzarella cheese
- Buffalo sauce
- Salt & pepper, to taste
- Italian seasoning, to taste
Method
- Preheat oven to 425 degrees.
- Dice chicken, mushrooms and onions.
- Heat skillet on medium high heat with olive oil. Once the skillet is hot, add chicken, season with salt and pepper and cook until white throughout.
- Add diced mushrooms and onions. Cook until onions are translucent and mushrooms are soft.
- Put a piece of parchment paper on a cooking sheet and place flatbread on the sheet.
- Baked flatbread for 2-3 minutes (this can be done while you’re cooking the chicken and veggies)
- Remove flatbread from oven and top with buffalo sauce, mozzarella cheese, and chicken and veggies.
- Place flatbread back into the oven and bake for 8-12 minutes until the cheese is melted and the bottom is crispier.
- Remove from oven, let it cool for a few mins, then slice and enjoy!
Notes
- Customize your toppings and sauce to your preferences. Don’t like buffalo, use red or white sauce. Change out the protein and add different veggies. Make the flat bread your own!
