Buffalo Chicken Flatbread Recipe

If you’re looking for a quick and easy weeknight recipe the whole family will love, you’re going to enjoy this delicious buffalo chicken flat bread recipe.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 medium to large chicken breasts, diced small
  • 1 cup of mushrooms, diced small
  • 1 cup of onion, diced small
  • 1/2 – 1 cup of Mozzarella cheese 
  • Buffalo sauce 
  • Salt & pepper, to taste
  • Italian seasoning, to taste

Method 

  • Preheat oven to 425 degrees.
  • Dice chicken, mushrooms and onions. 
  • Heat skillet on medium high heat with olive oil. Once the skillet is hot, add chicken, season with salt and pepper and cook until white throughout. 
  • Add diced mushrooms and onions. Cook until onions are translucent and mushrooms are soft. 
  • Put a piece of parchment paper on a cooking sheet and place flatbread on the sheet. 
  • Baked flatbread for 2-3 minutes (this can be done while you’re cooking the chicken and veggies)
  • Remove flatbread from oven and top with buffalo sauce, mozzarella cheese, and chicken and veggies. 
  • Place flatbread back into the oven and bake for 8-12 minutes until the cheese is melted and the bottom is crispier. 
  • Remove from oven, let it cool for a few mins, then slice and enjoy!

 

Notes

  • Customize your toppings and sauce to your preferences. Don’t like buffalo, use red or white sauce. Change out the protein and add different veggies. Make the flat bread your own!
