Celebrating Our Coaches Award Winners – The Fraser’s

Stronger Together: Celebrating Our Coaches Award Winners, Justin & Kat Fraser

This year marked something special for us at Original Strength Institute.

For the first time ever, we awarded our Coaches Award to a couple.

And not just any couple—
Justin and Kat Fraser.

Their journey represents something we believe deeply in:
real strength is built over time, through consistency, community, and commitment to the process.

Justin: “Just Gets the Job Done”

Justin’s journey is one that could easily be filled with headlines.

➡️ 125 pounds lost.

But if you ask his coach, Tristan Phillips, that’s not the story.

“Justin just gets the job done. Plain and simple. Give him a directive, and he puts one foot in front of the other until he reaches his destination. Down 125 lbs, and he made it seem like no big deal. We could all learn a bit from him, myself included.”

No shortcuts.
No constant pivoting.

Just consistent effort, over and over again.

Justin is proof that you don’t need to overhaul your life overnight—
you just need to keep moving forward.

Kat: The Long Game Wins

Kat’s journey is just as powerful, because it looks different.

Her goal wasn’t weight loss.

It was strength.
Longevity.
Being able to show up fully for her life and her family.

Her coach, Virginia Allen, said it best:

“Kat is the queen of consistency over perfection and playing the long game.”

For over a year, Kat showed up twice a week.

Not five days and rarely less than two days.
Not extreme challenges.
Not all-or-nothing.

Just steady, committed action.

She rejected the pressure so many moms feel to “bounce back,” and instead chose something better:

➡️ To become strong and capable
➡️ To enjoy the process
➡️ To model balance for her kids

And in doing so, she transformed not just her body—but the environment around her.

She became a source of encouragement, laughter, and perspective for everyone training alongside her.

Why This Matters

Justin and Kat didn’t just train in one lane.

They embraced the full OSI experience:

  • Personal Training for guidance and accountability
  • Semi-Private Training for progression and coaching
  • Group Sessions for community
  • Clinics to learn and grow
  • Nutrition Coaching to support it all

They didn’t chase quick results.
They built a lifestyle.

The Real Reason They Won

This award isn’t about numbers.

It’s about how you show up.

Justin and Kat:

✔️ Showed up consistently
✔️ Supported others
✔️ Embraced the process
✔️ Stayed in the game

They remind us that strength isn’t built in a moment—
it’s built in the decisions you make over and over again.

Your Turn

If you’ve ever felt like:

  • You’re too far behind
  • You don’t have enough time
  • You need to “get in shape first”

Justin and Kat’s story says otherwise.

Start where you are.
Stay consistent.
Let the process work.
